We are a local family owned business serving the triangle area for over 26 years. You can count on us to successfully manage your project and to deliver a high quality modular home. We are very proud of recently winning “Model Center of 2005” from our State Association. This is a very prestigious award that recognizes a modular homes sales center that delivers high quality homes and service you can trust.

Bobby Sauls, President of Designer Homes, grew up in the Triangle and served in Vietnam with the U.S. Air Force. After returning from war, he attended East Carolina University on the GI bill and after college became a North Carolina real estate broker. Bobby entered into the manufactured homes business in 1979 and he currently serves as Treasurer on the North Carolina Manufactured Housing Institute Board of Directors.

Rob Sauls, Vice President of Designer Homes, attended Western Carolina University before starting with us in 1996. Rob is a licensed North Carolina general contractor and oversees our constructions projects on a day to day basis. Rob plays on an adult soccer league team and has just finished his first marathon in Richmond, Virginia.
